From the seventh month onwards, the baby has his own well-established sleep rhythm: he or she will sleep 11 to 12 hours at night. In this phase, the baby is already able to sit on the floor and happily grabs, examines, and hits objects. At this age, they start crawling.​​​​​​​The baby’s vision may reach the capacity of an adult’s vision. In the socio-affective area, developmental progress is visible as well: the baby learns to say good-bye with his hand, and learns how to clap his hands. First teeth appear.
